1. No Rigid Streams
Students in Class 11 and 12 can now "Mix & Match" subjects. want to study Physics with History? Now you can!
2. Vocational Integration from Class 6
Every student will learn at least one vocational craft like Carpentry, Electrician work, or Metalwork, through 10-day bagless periods.
3. Review of Year-End Exams
The focus is shifting from "Memory-based testing" to "Application-based testing." Semester-wise exams might replace the traditional annual board exam system in some regions.
4. 360-Degree Progress Cards
Report cards will now include self-assessment, peer-assessment, and teacher-assessment, covering holestic development across the year.
5. Multilingualism
Schools are encouraged to teach in the mother tongue or regional language up to at least Class 5, to ensure better conceptual understanding.
